The paint department at Derrick Company was originated to compliment our blast department by providing a simple coat of rust inhibitive primer for that quick trip to the machine shop. As our customers' needs changed from simple primers to more sophisticated and multi-coat processes, likewise our capabilities have changed with them. Today much of our painting business involves multiple coat or finish paint systems utilizing conventional, air-assist, and electrostatic application techniques. We are experienced with most major brand paint systems, and have developed relationships with most coatings suppliers for consultation purposes. Our facilities give us the ability to apply multiple coat paint systems to oversize parts in a climate controlled paint booth. At the customer's request, paint certification reports are provided with records of pertinent environmental information.
